SPM PROJECT

As part of BPCL-KR expansion, Single Point Mooring (SPM) was established 19.4 km from the Puthuvypeen lighthouse for handling VLCCs of 300,000-tonne capacity and STF was established for storage of 240,000-kilolitres of crude oil at Puthuvypeen Coast before it is pumped to the KRL refinery at Ambalamugal. M/s INTEC Engineering, M/s FACT Engineering and Design Organisation (FEDO), M/s Bridge & Roof Company (India) Limited and M/s Furnace Fabrica India Ltd were the engineerings, construction and technology partners. Collaborating with M/s FFIL, we have executed terminal piping including interconnection with crude storage tanks facilities. Works included Fabrication and laying of above ground and Underground piping from 50NB to 1200NB, Coating & wrapping, installation of valves RCC/Structural pipe sleepers, erection of Machinery items such as vertical booster Pumps and the equipment erections in STF etc. The entire project had a total executed value of 4.7 Cr.
